Working Hours: Full-time, eight (8) month term. February 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025 (part-time in February and March, then full-time). Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (35 hours per week).

Key Activities

Under the supervision of the Associate Producer and the Artistic Director, the incumbent will be tasked with duties related to planning, coordinating, administering and presenting shows and events for the biennial Zones Théâtrales (ZT).

The incumbent will be in charge of:
• Supporting the Associate Producer and Artistic Director with development and implementation of programming initiatives;
• Helping the Associate Producer and the Artistic Director prepare for and hold meetings with partners and collaborators;
• Developing the implementation schedule and work plan for the 2025 edition of ZT in collaboration with the Artistic Director and the Associate Producer;
• Helping prepare artist and site partner contracts;
• Liaising with artists, businesses, presenters and partners;
• Coordinating planning and production meetings;
• Handling the logistics of shows and events;
• Helping prepare post-festival final reports;
• Handling general management of ZT and supervision of the team of contractors, interns and volunteers.

Skill Requirements

• University degree in administration and/or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience within the performing arts environment;
• In-depth knowledge of performing arts production and presentation;
• Knowledge of Canada’s Francophone theatre scene and an understanding of artist and business contract negotiations;
• Knowledge of financial planning including budgeting, management and cost/revenue control, an asset;
• Good people skills and leadership abilities;
• Part-time availability beginning in February and full-time availability from April to the end of October 2025;
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances;
• Ability to work in a team;
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Excel);
• Strong proficiency (verbal and written) in French;
• Fluency in English would be an asset.
