Key Activities

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be instrumental in the tactical execution of marketing plans designed to enhance local and national exposure and maximize revenue for NAC artistic discipline productions and initiatives. You’ll work closely with various members of the marketing team, supporting different disciplines in achieving their specific marketing objectives, and monitoring and reporting on campaign results as required. In this role, you will also assist in servicing NAC patrons, helping to ensure a positive and engaging experience that inspires them to return and actively participate in NAC events.

Your work might include:

• Campaign Support & Coordination – Assist with the development and lead the tactical execution of marketing campaigns that raise awareness and drive attendance. Help coordinate selected initiatives and activations and ensure effective communication with stakeholders to keep projects on track.
• Analysis & Insights – Support a data-driven approach by tracking and analyzing key performance metrics. Support marketing strategists with tracking and reporting of campaigns.
• Brand Storytelling – Contribute to creating inspiring and consistent brand narratives, helping to craft creative content, promotional materials and stories that resonate with different audiences;
• Content Management – Coordinate the collection and manage the digital storage of audio, visual and written assets to ensure easy access for other stakeholders and future marketing initiatives.
• Budget Tracking – Support the team in tracking expenses and managing project budgets to ensure adherence to budgetary obligations.
• Cross-Team Coordination – Collaborate with colleagues across departments on various duties to bring marketing initiatives to life.
• Audience Engagement & Event Activation – Attend NAC shows and events to connect with patrons, gather insights, and foster relationships that enhance audience engagement. Assist in executing tasks for pre- and post-show activities to enrich audience experiences.

Skill Requirements

• Post secondary diploma/degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline;
• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a marketing or communications role or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
• Fluency in both official languages is required;
• Strong ability to communicate verbally and excellent interpersonal skills;
• Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and French, including ability to create and edit copy for promotional emails, collateral materials, social media posts and web content;
• Experience in marketing or communication campaign execution and analysis
• Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, adapt to various roles as needed, and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking;
• Experience managing campaign expenses
• Demonstrate initiative and sound judgment;
• Proficiency in using MS Office (Teams), PowerPoint, Excel and social media platforms;
• Must be available to work in the office six (6) days out of ten (10) days, as well as occasional weekend or evening work.
• Familiarity with, and a deep interest in the performing arts would be an asset.
