Job Reports To: Manager; Parking Services & Facilities



Key Activities

Under the supervision of the Manager of Parking Services, the Supervisor is responsible for the administration of all data, client services, and operations of the NAC commercial parking facility.
The incumbent shall:
• Ensure the efficient operation of the NAC parking facility;
• Coordinate and execute contracts to all clients of the NAC parking facility;
• Supervise the Parking Revenue Control & Card Access Systems;
• Administer accounts receivable;
• Prepare and distribute daily and monthly financial report;
• Ensure the highest possible level of customer service at all times.

The incumbent supervises a large group of unionized members. They will have a working knowledge of collective agreements and have experience implementing language from collective bargaining. The supervisor will also communicate and liaise with internal and external parking clients, suppliers, other NAC departments, and union representatives.

Skill Requirements

• Post secondary diploma– or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience and a minimum of three (3) years of directly-related experience in a similar position;
• Strong written and verbal skills and bilingual in both official languages,
• Strong customer relations experience;
• Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain communication;
• Able to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Understanding of the sensitivity required when working in a creative environment,
• Demonstrate a commitment to the NAC mission and ability to deliver an exceptional level of service and partnership: provide support and training to staff to build awareness within the organization, and;
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with all levels of the organization, as well as with trades and sub-contractors.
