Key Activities

Reporting to Le Café restaurant’s Supervisors, you are accountable for the operation of the Bar and to provide friendly, courteous and efficient service to customers and servers. You are also responsible for closing-up the bar at the end of your shift and for balancing cash receipts against the register sales.

Skill Requirements

  • Post-secondary Diploma and a completion of bartending and mixology program;
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in bartending;
  • “Smart Serve” Certificate;
  • Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations;
  • Experience with the general public;
  • Experience with money transactions and operating a cash register;
  • Flexible and available to work within an irregular schedule, weekends, evenings and day shifts;
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced and busy environment;
  • Bilingualism in both official languages (English and French) is mandatory;
  • A past record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality is a requirement.*
