Key activities:
The incumbent will prepare and sell food and beverages to NAC personnel, the artists and special guests. Responsibilities also include ordering the necessary food items, re-stocking the fridges and cold counter, cleaning the eating area and kitchen area and performing other related duties as required.

Skill Requirements

  • High school diploma;
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods and experience as a line cook;
  • Knowledge of the use and proper handling of all machinery and equipment to ensure the safety of you and your colleagues;
  • Ability to follow directions and work with limited supervision;
  • Must be friendly, upbeat, and work well with other employees and be able to interact with guests;
  • Ability to work under pressure in a very busy environment;
  • Experience in dealing with various monetary transactions and a Point Of Sales (POS) system;
  • Bilingual in both official languages would be an asset;
  • A past record of satisfactory attendance and punctuality is a requirement.*
