Submitting a proposal

  1. Do I need to create a profile to submit a proposal?
  2. To submit a proposal, you must create your profile first. Access the My profile page to create your profile. When you create your profile, you will be required to create a password. Use this password to access your profile and continue with the submission process.

  3. How do I submit a proposal to the National Creation Fund?
  4. Start at the National Creation Fund page and follow the instructions provided to create a profile / login to your existing profile. You will then be asked to upload a completed copy of the Project Proposal PDF, which is available here

  5. Do I have to fill out a new profile each time I submit a proposal?
  6. A link to your profile is automatically created every time you submit a proposal, so you only have to fill it out once. However, you may update your profile at any time.

  7. How can I upload my proposal?
  8. You can upload your proposal when you create a new profile or via the My proposals page upon logging in. There are three ways to upload your proposal:

    1. Using local files from your own operating system
    2. Using Dropbox online storage
    3. Using Google Drive online storage

    When uploading your proposal, you need to choose “PDF proposal” from the drop-down menu.

  9. What will happen after I submit my proposal?
  10. We will send you a confirmation email when your proposal has been received. We will review proposals as we receive them. We will let you know in four to six weeks if your project will be moving to the next phase of consideration.

My profile

  1. Do I need to submit a proposal to create a profile?
  2. No, you do not need to submit a proposal before creating a profile. Access the My profile page, and follow the steps for creating or updating your profile. Your information will be saved in the system.

  3. I can’t log onto my profile. I receive an invalid password or authorized users only message. What do I do?
    1. Click on Forgot your password?  above the log-in button. Enter your email address in the field provided, and click Send. An email containing the reset password link will be sent automatically to the email address provided.
    2. If you are still experiencing problems with the new password, type in the password rather than cutting and pasting it from the email that was sent to you. Sometimes an extra space can be copied by mistake, which will render your password invalid.
    3. Other possibilities:
      • Enable your cookies
      • Delete your cookies
      • Update your browser to the latest version
